The flashback scene in the comics allowed Natasha to wear an all-white tight-fitting uniform in a Soviet mission, and this uniform was also the uniform she wore when she was in the early days. The costume also corresponds to the styling in the 2010 manga “Black Widow: Deadly Origin” (by Paul Cornell), power ranger adult costume which is also the attempt to simplify the black widow’s comics after Natasha’s debut in the MCU “Iron Man 2” background story.
